Day 2 - Cardiff to Bangor, Wales

We got up early this morning headed from Cardiff in the south to Bangor in the north.  The Welsh are quick to point out the English killed all of the north/south raid lines, so you end up having to take the train all the way east to the English border, north along the border, then west along the coast.  While it makes for a 4 hour ride, it does provide some great views of the country.

We really wish we had time to get off in Shewsbury and Rhy, both looked like they would have been a really interesting place to walk around.  We went past the Airbus plant in Chester where there were a few shell of old MiGs.  This picture was from the train near Llandudno Junction.
