Today we set out to drive the "Ring of Kerry," one of the most scenic drives in Ireland. The N70/N71/N72 loop around County Kerry, around MacGillycuddy's Reeks (the highest mountains in Ireland) and along the coast of Dingle Bay and Kenmare Bay. We took the ring clockwise from Kenmare to avoid getting stuck behind the tour busses. (The roads are too narrow for buses to pass so they have to all go around counterclockwise.) This is good because you're never behind a bus, but bad during mid day when you have cross paths with a bunch of busses!
