Day 8 - Kylemore Abby, Connemara, Co. Galway

One of the surprise highlights of the trip was Kylemore Abby.  Originally built in the 1870's for a wealthy family, it as bought by a group of Irish Benedictine nuns who had been in Belgium since the 1600s.  When World War I broke out the nuns abby as destroyed and they returned to Ireland, purchasing Kylemore in the 1920s.
